Contour Land was set up to enable direct to landowner partnerships in an effort to avoid unnecessary interactions with numerous parties. Working directly with the landowner allows us to structure bespoke deals that meet your requirements. Our direct approach means that we only look to take on a selective group of sites each year, so if you have received a letter from us recently, we really are very interested in hearing from you.

HUGH CANNING GIBBS
Land & Planning Consultant
With a background in both public and private sector planning, Hugh has a strong approach to identifying the unique developmental characteristics for each plot of land. Hugh’s work as a planning consultant has allowed him to create a large network of developers in a range of sectors including some of the largest UK homebuilders to leading providers of renewable energies.
Hugh serves as Contour Land’s in-house data and mapping consultant. For Landowners, this means we’ve done our research before we reach out and we’d like to start a conversation with you.
GAVIN ANDREW
Development Consultant
Gavin’s twenty years’ of property experience in land, new homes sales, investment management and residential estate agency has given him a proven track record in working for both landowners and investors.
A skilled and personable negotiator, Gavin is well-versed in the preparation, review and acceptance of planning promotion agreements, option agreements and joint ventures within the residential development sphere. This flexible approach to structuring deals allows Gavin to work with landowners to optimise the value of each opportunity.
CHRISTOPHER OATES

Chris has over twenty years of experience in engineering, development, managing critical processes and quality control, including roles in land development and as a licensed aircraft engineer and commercial pilot for major airlines. Chris’ background ensures the selection and acquisition of appropriate land and timely execution to consistently achieve the planned objectives.
As part of the investment team, Chris ensures that acquisitions and partnerships are dealt with swiftly and efficiently and ready for capital to be deployed. For landowners, this means fast and reliable transactions.
Mark Coles

Mark has over twenty years of experience in private equity and principal investing in residential and commercial real estate and renewable power generation assets across the full life cycle including acquisition, development, operation and sale.
